Global Financial Crisis 2008
INTRODUCTION
The global financial crisis, brewing for a while, really started to show its effects in the middle of 2007 and into 2008. Around the world stock markets have fallen, large financial institutions have collapsed or been bought out, and governments in even the wealthiest nations have had to come up with rescue packages to bail out their financial systems.
On the one hand many people are concerned that those responsible for the financial problems are the ones being bailed out, while on the other hand, a global financial meltdown will affect the livelihoods of almost everyone in an increasingly inter-connected world. The problem could have been avoided, if ideologues supporting the current economics models weren’t so vocal, influential and inconsiderate of others’ viewpoints and concerns.
A crisis so severe, the world financial system is affected
A collapse of the US sub-prime mortgage market and the reversal of the housing boom in other industrialized economies have had a ripple effect around the world. Furthermore, other weaknesses in the global financial system have surfaced. Some financial products and instruments have become so complex and twisted, that as things start to unravel, trust in the whole system started to fail.
While there are many technical explanations of how the sub-prime mortgage crisis came about, the mainstream British comedians, John Bird and John Fortune, describe the mindset of the investment banking community in this satirical interview, explaining it in a way that sometimes only comedians an.
The extent of the problems has been so severe that some of the world’s largest financial institutions have collapsed. Others have been bought out by their competition at low prices and in other cases, the governments of the wealthiest nations in the world have resorted to extensive bail-out and rescue packages for the remaining large banks and financial institutions.
A crisis so severe, those responsible are bailed out
Some of the bail-outs have also been accompanied with charges of hypocrisy due to the appearance of “socializing the costs while privatizing the profits.” The bail-outs appear to help the financial institutions that got into trouble (many of whom pushed for the kind of lax policies that allowed this to happen in the first place).
Some governments have moved to make it harder to manipulate the markets by shorting during the financial crisis blaming them for worsening an already bad situation. Other governments have moved to try and reassure investors and savers that their money is safe. In a number of European countries, for example, governments have tried to increase or fully guarantee depositors’ savings. In other cases, banks have been nationalized
In the meanwhile, smaller businesses and poorer people rarely have such options for bail out and rescue when they find themselves in crisis.
A crisis so severe, the rest suffer too
There is the argument that when the larger banks show signs of crisis, it is not just the wealthy that will suffer, but potentially everyone. With an increasingly inter-connected world, things like a credit crunch can ripple through the entire economy.
For example, banks with little confidence to lend may lend with higher interest rates. People may find their mortgages harder to pay, or remortgaging could become expensive. For any recent home buyers, the values of their homes are likely to fall in value leaving them in negative equity. In the wider economy, many sectors may find the credit crunch and higher costs of borrowing will lead to job cuts. As people will cut back on consumption to try and weather this economic storm, yet other businesses will struggle to survive leading to further fears of job losses.
The real economy in many countries is already feeling the effects. Many industrialized nations are sliding into recession if they are not already there.
Europe and the financial crisis
In Europe, a number of major financial institutions failed. Others needed rescuing.
For example, some nations have stepped in to nationalize or in some way attempt to provide assurance for people. This may include guaranteeing 100% of people’s savings or helping broker deals between large banks to ensure there isn’t a failure.
The financial crisis and the developing world
For the developing world, the rise in food prices as well as the knock-on effects from the financial instability and uncertainty in industrialized nations is having a compounding effect. High fuel costs, soaring commodity prices together with fears of global recession are worrying many developing country analysts.
Summarizing a United Nations Conference on Trade and Development report, the Third World Network notes the impacts the crisis could have around the world, especially on developing countries that are dependent on commodities for import or export.
Asia and the financial crisis
Countries in Asia are increasingly worried about what is happening in the West. A number of nations urged the US to provide meaningful assurances and bailout packages for the US economy, as that would have a knock-on effect of reassuring foreign investors and helping ease concerns in other parts of the world.
Many believed Asia was sufficiently decoupled from the Western financial systems. Asia has not had a subprime mortgage crisis like many nations in the West have, for example. Many Asian nations have witnessed rapid growth and wealth creation in recent years. This lead to enormous investment in Western countries. In addition, there was increased foreign investment in Asia, mostly from the West.
However, this crisis has shown that in an increasingly inter-connected world means there are always knock-on effects and as a result, Asia has had more exposure to problems stemming from the West. Many Asian countries have seen their stock markets suffer and currency values going on a downward trend. Asian products and services are also global, and a slowdown in wealthy countries means increased chances of a slowdown in Asia and the risk of job losses and associated problems such as social unrest.
A global food crisis affecting the poorest the most
While the media’s attention is on the global financial crisis (which predominantly affects the wealthy and middle classes), the effects of the global food crisis (which predominantly affects the poorer and working classes) seems to have fallen off the radar. The two are in fact inter-related issues; both have their causes rooted in the fundamental problems associated with a neoliberal, one-size-fits-all, economic agenda imposed on virtually the entire world.
Poor nations will get less financing for development
The poorer countries do get foreign aid from richer nations, but it cannot be expected that current levels of aid (low as they actually are) can be maintained as donor nations themselves go through financial crisis. As such the Millennium Development Goals to address many concerns such as halving poverty and hunger around the world will be affected.
An UN-sponsored conference slated for November 2008 to address this issue is unlikely to get much attention or be successful due to the recession fears and the financial crisis. But this capital flight is estimated to cost poor countries from $350 billion to $500 billion in lost revenue, outweighing foreign aid by almost a factor of 5.
Politically, it may be this latter point that prevents many rich countries doing more to help the poor, when monetarily it would be so easy to do so.
CONCLUSION
During periods of boom, people do not want to hear of criticisms of the forms of economics they benefit from, especially when it brings immense wealth and power, regardless of whether it is good for everyone or not.
It may be that during periods of crisis such as now, the time comes to rethink economics in some way. Even mainstream media, usually quite supportive of the dominant neoliberal economic ideology entertains thoughts that economic policies and ideas need rethinking.
Some have been writing for many years that while the current economic ideology is flawed, it only needs minor tweaking to correct it and make it work for everyone; a more compassionate capitalism, but capitalism nonetheless. Others argue that capitalism is so flawed it needs complete doing away with. Others may yet argue that the bailouts by large government will distort the markets even more (encouraging bad practices by the big institutions) and rather than more regulation, an even freer form of capitalism is needed.

2 minute job
The only way to do this is to establish federal funding to pay for health care costs. If health insurance is mandated (much like auto insurance in the United States)as recommended by Hillary Clinton, this would provide insurance companies with a large enough risk pool to cover uninsured’s - however, the problem remains that there is no good reason for people to buy mandated health care coverage. So cooperation will be difficult.
Allow for more market forces, it is when the government gets involved costs always skyrocket. Those famous words "We are from the government and we are here to help you" Just look at this bail out, how many TRILLIONS of dollars are involved.
I had a business that was making me a very nice living, it came to an end when a lease ran out and government regulations prohibited me of finding another location for over 2 years. Now my bank accounts are empty and bill is very late, WHERE IS MY BAIL OUT?
Competition not government will bring prices down; the government just interferes and takes care of their lobbyist and friends http://www.smallaa.com/post/1530.
I remember the saying "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". It's the quintessential era of tightening belts in the US and if sacrifices like these do not take place, then the government will spiral into recession which in most cases they do not want to happen. The rich will have to budge; senior citizens should reap their benefits as is. Health care is a necessity and should not be just given to a chosen few. Reform is needed and I hope you would get to follow Canada's system where that is priority .The US should take a lead, and never be just a second rate, trying hard, copy cat.

Mumbai Massacre 2008
n the last three days not only the Indians, people from all over the world are living the most unforgettable days in the world history. These three days are the black days in the Indian history. Yes, I hope that you people can get what I am trying to say through this post from the title itself. You all are right!!! Here I am going to discuss about the worst face of terrorism Mumbai Massacre 2008. By Thursday around 15 terrorists entered India(Mumbai) through some sea route and started to show their terror face at various places, then finally entered the famous hotels namely Taj and Oberoi. Many places have been hit by these worst attack in Mumbai like VT station, Nariman House and a hospital. So this seems to be a well planned game played by the terrorists against the Indians. But to say the truth Indians have failed to protect the citizens of India from the terror hands.

DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS
hi guys ,i am here to say my opinion about an important community event. Downtown McKinney’s premier festival, the 28th annual Dickens of a Christmas, is right around the corner. An old fashioned, Victorian atmosphere with horse drawn carriages, strolling carolers, visits with Santa Claus, the Christmas tree lighting and activities for all ages. Come and enjoy Christmas music, Dickens era dress, food and children activities provided by local not-for-profit organizations.
Bring your family and enjoy the weekend tubing, visiting the many great shops and restaurants on the historic square, and entertainment. It's the perfect start to the holiday season.
It all starts on the 28th with the tree lighting ceremony, a message from our Mayor, the lighting of the tree and candlelight shopping until 8:00 p.m.
Santa Claus always enjoys the McKinney Dickens festival and coming in person! He will be available to see your children to hear there requests and for picture taking all three days during his vacation from the North Pole. Catch him at the MPAC building in the center of McKinney square.
Periodically during the month of December, the shops in downtown McKinney will stay open for extended hours so that customers have a chance to finish all of that holiday shopping in one place with over 100 boutiques, art galleries, bookstores, apparel, gifts and exquisite antique stores. Visitors can find unique and special gifts that they won’t find anywhere else. This magical event is free to the public. CART will provide free shuttle service from First Baptist Church of McKinney to the Historic Downtown.
Do visit this event and enjoy yourself.

SAKARAKATTI MOVIE REVIEW
HI guys, here I am with the new movie sakarakatti. This released today
The movie “Sakarakatti” created immense welcome as all the songs of the movie were excellently scored by A.R.Rahman. The movie name itself so sweet but the story of the movie is not so sweet comparing the title. While looking the script of the movie it simply manages to give an outdated script with a triangle love story revolving around the college sets. The debutant hero Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and A.R.Rahman is exceptional and their stuff too wasted in the movie.
The actor Shanthanu looks charming in the movie with careless parent’s together living in a colony with childhood friends begun to enter the college. Shanthanu falls in love with one of the glamorous girl in the class Ishita Sharma. Now enters Vedika his Cousin who is in crush with Shantanu from the childhood. The story is made with lots of misunderstanding which is resolved later simply the movie is made like a tied knot if one knot is release it will be built with another.
As a debutant Director Kalaprabhu gives more importance in songs rather than building good characters in movies. At the time of climax the audiences started booing in their seats. Ishita Sharma is not impressive and the character was also not written well in the script. Actress Vedhika appearance in the screen gives full presence and one of the French beard comedian shows some good signs for the movie. Debutant hero Shanthanu is impressive with his body language, charm looking he can build up well and survive in the field. Taxi… and Chellama song was choreographed well.
More than this the graphical part of the movie costs high as the songs like A.R.Rahman need some extra thing which other big directors suitably used in their movies. The movie is built to attract more college students but the idea went vein. As a debutant director Kalaprabhu fails to give a tasteful movie.

Custom-Essay.org Service P7
Hi guys I am here with another topic of writing essay. I am trying to get a good site from where I can get good essays for my blogs.
After coming through various sources I came through an interesting and a worthy web site for . It is one of kind custom writing service, unites people that are just like us. All of us have gone through the experience of custom essay writing – first at schools, then in colleges and universities. Their only difference from us is that they have chosen writing as their career. This choice helped them to become professionals in their fields. Whether we need a Marketing, Management, Finance, Philosophy, IT or any other project, they have staff writers to produce quality work in a timely manner that are able and willing to address any of our concerns. They are maintaining their quality as their goal.
They are providing help for writing research papers also. All we have to do is to provide them with a topic, instructions and our deadline. All custom research papers that are in a range of 2-100 pages, 12hours – 14 days, school – PhD can be completed by their writers. This information will be considered by the writers while looking for information. Sometimes we might be asked by our professor to provide a first draft. Their research paper writers can easily do it; we will just have to note this in our order instructions. It employs graduates from accredited universities. SAROJA
Hi guys, I am here with the new movie saroja one of the awaited movie for the year by the famous Director Venkat Prabhu who hit big time with his debut venture chennai28 has proved that he is not just a flash in a pan. His new film Saroja is a clean, fun-filled, family entertainer. Taking its title from the hit song saroja Saaman Nikaalo from his earlier film, Prabhu has blended all the commercial elements in a perfect mix. The result– an action thriller, produced by Amma Creations, is an absolute treat to watch
The film beginning with random shots of a chemical tanker speeding along the National Highway from Orissa; there’s a girl dancing in a nightclub accompanied by a singer (Yuvan) for the Cheeky Cheeky song. Cut to the city where Ajay Raj(Shiva), a TV serial star is engaged to pooja (Kajal Agarwal). There’s also GaneshKumar( Premji), a happy-go-lucky guy who falls in love with any girl he meets.
Jagapathy Babu (SPB Charan) is a married man with a nagging wife, a daughter and a younger brother RamBabu( Vaibhav) who has sacrificed his ladylove Pooja for Ajay. The four happen to be good friends, having a blast whenever they’re together. Once , they decide to go to Hydrabad to watch a cricket match. So with bags packed, the guys hit the road in the makeshift caravan set up by Ajay. However, things are not well at multimillionaire Vishwanath’s (Prakash Raj) household. His only daughter Saroja (Vega ) a Class 10 student is kidnapped by unidentified men.
Vishwanath’s best friend and police officer RaviChandran ( Jeyaram) comes to his rescue. Meanwhile, the road-trippers, after a minor accident, decide to return chennai, to catch the match on TV. But Ajay claims to know a shortcut to Hydrabad. They eventually land up at a desolate industrial estate– the hideout of the kidnapper Sampath, his henchmen and his girlfriend Kalyani ( Nikitha). The rest of the tale is about how the four save Saroja from the Villain’s clutches, which is narrated with twists and turns in a racy and enjoyable manner.
The foursome comprising Charan, Shiva, Vaibhav and Premji have done their part well and share perfect timing for comedy. Prakash Raj shines in his cameo. Jeyaram is the surprise packet who walks away with the laurels in a negative role. While new girl Vega fits the bill, Nikitha provides the glam quotient. However, the real hero is director Venkat Prabhu who deserves applause for his simple and honest narration minus frills. The film is imaginative and engrossing.
Yuvan Shankar’s songs are superb with the background score perfectly reflecting the mood of the film. Sakthi Saravanan’s brilliant cinematography is another highlight. Occasionally the pace is monotonous as it happens on a single locate, neverthless with its major plus points you cannot afford to miss the film.

POI SOLLA POROM
HI guys, I am here with the movie review of the poi solla poram and it follows like above.
UTV’s Poi Solla Porom (U) is also praiseworthy for the sense and sensibility beneath the line of comedy. Its a story of seemingly uncaring children and responsible parents. A crisis stirs chords of affection and unity in the family. Sathyanathan (Nedumudi Venu) aspires to build a dream home for his wife and children with the money he gets after retirement, while son Uppilinathan (Karthik Kumar) is keen to go abroad. So, when an avaricious land broker (VMC Haneefa) gets him a piece of land and also allows the menacing Baby (Nasser), who is into illegal land deals, to occupy it, the family gets together to fight it out, matching fraud for fraud. Help comes to them in the form of Asif (Bosskey), Uppili’s girl friend Amritha (Piya) and her father, whom everyone calls ‘Daddy’ (Mouli).
Director Vijay deserves to be lauded for many aspects of PSP. One, of course, is the cast. Vijay brings out the best in Karthik Kumar, who looks every inch a software professional. He matches, and, at times, overtakes Parvin Dabas who did the part in KKG. Till date, no other director has used Karthik so well. Vying for top honours is Mouli who steals the show with a mind-blowing performance. In the part of ‘Daddy,’ posing as the rich man Varma from Dubai, he wins hands down. Again, it’s quite a break for Bosskey, who does a neat job as Asif, the man plotting to teach the villain a lesson. Underplay is the key and both Bosskey and Balaji (the secretary) emerge successful. New find Piya gets her expressions right though lip sync is an obvious problem. But Suchi’s (she’s dubbed for her) lively voice adds pep to Piya’s expressions. Boman Irani who did Nasser’s role in KKG showed how villainy can be funny … even likeable. Nasser as the land grabber isn’t far behind, but Irani is surely ahead. Nasser looks obese in PSP but it adds to the fun and Nedumudi Venu as Sathyanathan is natural, but again, he only comes a close second to Anupam Kher’s classic portrayal of Khosla Senior. Actor Rajesh who has lent voice for Venu is a definite value-addition.
Vijay’s dialogue, both humorous and thought-provoking, tickles the viewer almost throughout. Na. Muthukumar’s meaningful lyrics, the montage shots for the tracks and the tunes in general are highlights of M.G. Sreekumar’s music. But Gopisundar’s re-recording score is a little too loud for comfort. So, when the instruments fall silent in crucial scenes it’s a relief. If lighting can add to the fun, cinematographer Arvind Krishna’s does. The scene of the first meeting between Nasser and Venu, where the lighting is exaggeratedly eerie, is one such. Editing (Antony) is another satisfying aspect.
Vijay’s remake is as enjoyable as its Hindi counterpart. And in his urge to innovate, he introduces a few more sequences which go down well with the viewer. Kireedam, Vijay’s maiden effort, may not have fetched him the desired results. But this time round, he has understood the pulse of the audience even while sticking to his stand of providing standard fare. The makers should laugh their way to the bank. They deserve to.add ur review about the above movie.

OVERALL COST LEADERSHIP
Hi guys, I would like to share my opinion about the shop. This gives the product to the people for low cost.
Subhiksha is India's largest supermarket, pharmacy and telecom chain. It started in 1997 as a single store entity in South Chennai. Now it has grown tremendously and it is one of the best supermarket in Chennai and in an around Tamilnadu, because of its cost. It is using the technique of overall cost leadership so that the people are using it in large amount.
They are getting the products directly from the firms they are not using a dealers in between to get the product and they reduce the unwanted expenses in the shop so the they can provide their customers with the product for low cost. Whereas the other supermarket uses a focus technique, that is they give important to the customer satisfaction rather than cost.

INDIAN GIRL SHOT IN U.S
Hi guys, what’s happening in U.s for the Indian students?
One more Indian Girl "Tummala Soumya Reddy, the 23-year-old MS student in Southern Illinois University, Chicago in U.S" was killed on Sunday morning in America. Are the Indian Students really safe in America? Here we really have to question about the amount of security that American Government is giving to all the students.
What this Indian government is doing they are giving permission to start a consultancy and gather students and send them to U.S, but they are least bothered about the security of the students.
Some measures have to be taken in order to stop these kinds of problem. If this continues no Indian student will go to U.S to pursue their degree. In another angle it’s a great shame for the Indian government, they are not taking any measures to control it.

LEHMAN BROTHERS
Hi guys, today the world’s largest investment company Lehman Brothers announced that they are applied for bankruptcy protection in the US. In turn it affected the whole world's market. All the stock markets are getting affected through this issue and the losses are heavy. The loss in Indian Market is also too heavy. I guess that this change is going to affect us a lot more than this.
The cause for this is they gave lots of loans and it is still uncollected .so the lost their asset. The American government is also helpless in this issue; they helped American Insurance from the loss.
Already the Information Technology field is stable and this new issue has made the Indian market to lose its hope for the future investment bankers.

BEGGARS IN TRAIN
Hi guys, I would like to share my experience with the beggar’s .when I travel from tambaram to egmore in local train. Daily when I get into the train at 8.30, I will see the same set of beggars in the compartments. They are using the small children of around 5 years to get money.
The worst thing happened on last week when a small baby was hit on his head and it is bleeding with that the lady is asking for money. Some of the guys in the compartment scolded that women and told her to take the child to the hospital, but that lady was not hearing she still continued to beg.
What this Indian government is going to do in this issue?
Future will get affected because of this.
Some of the real beggars are the Indian government staffs. IF an Indian wants to finish his work, he should give money for these beggars. These beggars are taking India to the Stone Age.

They are ready to pay the huge amount too. Now a new issue has started Nokia Planned for its N96 release which has more or less the same feature as the Apple I phone has. So now consumers are in confusion. Apple got some of the features from the Vodafone and Nokia too have to do the same for their production .The only other network they have is the idea .Apple uses apple OS .so most of the users are familiar with this operating system so they will go for it. Nokia already have the good name in the Indian market.

DELHI BOMB BLAST
Hi guys, would somebody please tell me what’s happening in India. I mean about the bomb blast. It’s a worst thing. What this government is doing are they keeping bomb to get votes in upcoming election. What’s their intention of this government?
I don’t feel that it’s because of the terrorist. There is no need of terrorist for the countries like India because already we have politicians as the authorized terrorist.
If things continue like this in future the India will no more India .it will be a graveyard. In future politicians alone live with all the government printed money.

BRAVE SARDARS
During the protest against British sardarji's were brave and they gave strong opposition to British. So British people were using sardar name in jokes & comics. Now we Indians forward those jokes. We should feel ashamed of this. So hereafter stop sending and sharing such jokes. Instead use our politicians names who is slowly destroying our country each and every day. At least show your patriotism in messages. Make every Indian proud.
An Indian have published the sardar jokes (click here) and he has a good hits . we Indians should feel shame for these things and he should be fired for his dirty work

WHAT IS MUSIC
Music exists because people create it, perform it and listen to it. People are living organisms, and biology is the study of living organisms. If you succeeded in developing a complete theory of music, you would be able to use that theory to compose strong original music,
An information processing system has four basic components: input, output, calculation and storage. Applying this framework to the analysis of music, music appears to represent the input. What kind of information is the output, and what does it mean? How is it calculated?
Musicality is a perceived attribute of speech, which tells the listener important information about the speaker and the speech. Music is a super-stimulus for this perceived musicality, i.e. music is "speech" that has been contrived to have an unnaturally high level of musicality.
